Compact water treatment units are supplied to smaller communities and camps that have no access to a central water treatment facility.

The units are normally installed along a surface water source (river or lake). The units are factory built in coated mild steel construction ready to install upon delivery to the site. The BIODOS Compact water treatment units have been designed in the shape of standard ISO containers convenient for shipping and easy to install. Standard capacities range from 50-200 m 3 /h. Multiples of those units are normally used for larger installations. Compact Water Treatment Plant: This sytem includes coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtering units and Disinfection station.

Compact water treatment units

Compact water treatment plants are an ideal solution for remote areas, emergency relief operations, military bases, and temporary settlements where centralized water treatment infrastructure is not available. These self-contained units are typically placed near surface water sources such as rivers, lakes, or reservoirs and are engineered for rapid deployment and minimal on-site construction. Built using durable coated mild steel and designed within standard ISO container dimensions, these systems are easy to transport, install, and commission. The units are fully pre-assembled and tested at the factory, ensuring quick start-up upon arrival. Each plant integrates a complete treatment process, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, multi-layer filtration, and final disinfection. With standard flow capacities ranging from 50 to 200 m³/h, the plants can be scaled up by combining multiple units for higher demand scenarios. These compact units ensure reliable access to clean and safe water, meeting international water quality standards even in the most challenging environments.
